GLove (2011 Film)
GLove (Korean: 글러브) is a 2011 South Korean sports drama film directed by Kang Woo-suk. The narrative follows a professional baseball player who, in an effort to rehabilitate his public image, takes a coaching position at a rural school for students with hearing impairments.

Plot
Kim Sang-nam (played by Jung Jae-young) is a professional baseball player whose career is jeopardized by his volatile behavior and frequent public controversies. To mitigate the damage to his reputation, his agent arranges for him to coach a baseball team at a school for the hearing-impaired. Initially reluctant and condescending toward his new players, Sang-nam struggles to adapt to the challenges of coaching a team that cannot hear his verbal instructions. He frequently clashes with Na Joo-won (Yoo-Sun), the school's music teacher and the team's dedicated manager, who is protective of the students. As Sang-nam spends more time with the team, he begins to form genuine bonds with the players, eventually finding personal inspiration in their dedication and passion for the sport.
Production
The film is inspired by the true story of the Chungju Sung-Shim school baseball team, located in Chungju City, North Chungcheong Province. The team, which consisted of students who were deaf, was established in September 2002. Principal photography for the film commenced in June 2010 and concluded on November 10, 2010, with the final scene filmed in Muju County, North Jeolla Province.
