Ghost Walk (2019 Film)

Ghost Walk (Korean: 밤의 문이 열린다; RR: Bamui Muni Yeolrinda) is a 2019 South Korean fantasy-mystery film written and directed by Yu Eun-Jeong. The film explores themes of isolation and human connection through a supernatural premise.

Plot

The story follows Hye-Jung (played by Han Hae-In), a factory worker living a solitary, aimless life on the outskirts of the city. Her existence changes abruptly when she awakens to find herself transformed into a ghost. As she experiences her afterlife in reverse, she attempts to uncover the circumstances of her death. During this journey, she encounters others and begins to perceive the hidden pain and emotional struggles of those she left behind.

The film was directed and written by Yu Eun-Jeong, with cinematography by Lee Joo-Hwan and production by Jo Sung-Hoon. It was released in South Korea on August 15, 2019, with a total runtime of 90 minutes. The film was distributed by MOVement.
