Ghost Doctor

Ghost Doctor (Korean: 고스트 닥터) is a South Korean medical fantasy television series that aired on tvN from January 3 to February 22, 2022. The series consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast in the Monday and Tuesday 22:30 time slot.

Plot

The story centers on Cha Young-Min, a brilliant but arrogant and selfish thoracic surgeon. Following an unexpected incident, his spirit becomes separated from his body and begins to possess the body of Go Seung-Tak, a first-year resident who is his complete opposite in terms of personality and medical skill. The narrative follows the two men as they navigate their professional and personal lives while their fates remain intertwined.

Production

The series was directed by Boo Sung-Chul and written by Kim Sun-Soo. It occupied the tvN time slot previously held by Secret Royal Inspector & Joy and was succeeded by Military Prosecutor Doberman on February 28, 2022.
