Get Karl! Oh Soo Jung (Korean: 칼잡이 오수정) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from July 28 to September 16, 2007. The series, which consists of 16 episodes, is a romantic comedy directed by Park Hyung-ki and written by Park Hye-ryun and Park Ji-eun.
Plot
The story follows Oh Soo-jung, a woman who, at age 34, remains single and works at a jewelry store. Eight years prior, she was engaged to Ko Man-soo, a high school sweetheart who was a member of his school's golf team. Soo-jung pressured Man-soo to pursue a career in law, leading him to abandon golf to study for the bar exam. However, after Man-soo failed the exam, Soo-jung left him on their scheduled wedding day.
Years later, their paths cross again. Man-soo has transformed into a successful, physically fit, and wealthy professional golfer, while Soo-jung finds herself in a stagnant career and personal life. The series explores their complicated reunion as Soo-jung attempts to win him back.
