Gekikaradou 2 is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Tokyo in 2023. It serves as the sequel to the 2021 series Gekikaradou, continuing the narrative centered on the sales promotion department of the beverage company Ronron.

Plot

The story follows Kenta Sarukawa, an employee at the Tokyo branch of the Ronron drink company who maintains a deep personal interest in spicy cuisine. The office dynamics shift with the arrival of Miyu Onodera, a colleague transferred from the company's Osaka headquarters who shares a history with Sarukawa as a professional rival. Additionally, the department welcomes Akira Kamoshita, the son of the company's CEO, who joins the team as a new member.

Production

Gekikaradou 2 was directed by Keisuke Shibata, Taku Matsumoto, and Kyoya Kakuda. The screenplay was written by Masahiro Yoshimoto, Yu Kanda, Yosuke Masaike, and Yusuke Moriguchi. The series consisted of 12 episodes and was broadcast on TV Tokyo from April 6 to June 22, 2023, in a late-night time slot on Thursdays.
