Fun Movie (Korean: 재밌는 영화; RR: Jaemitneun Yeonghwa) is a 2002 South Korean comedy film directed by Jang Gyu-Sung. The film is notable for its structure as a parody, drawing inspiration from various successful South Korean blockbuster films released during the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Plot

The narrative centers on a fictional plot involving the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup. A Japanese ultra-right-wing organization, the Million Men Patriots, attempts to sabotage a high-profile soccer match. The group selects two operatives, Murakami and a sharp-shooter named Hanako, to lead the mission in Seoul. The operation encounters numerous complications, leading to a series of comedic mishaps as the group struggles to maintain their mission objectives.

Production

The film was directed by Jang Gyu-Sung, with a screenplay written by Lee Won-Jae and Son Jae-Gon. The cinematography was handled by Ji Kil-Woong. It was released in South Korea on April 12, 2002, with a total runtime of 122 minutes.
