Fukushu no Miboujin
Fukushu no Miboujin (Japanese: 復讐の未亡人) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Tokyo in 2022. The series is based on the manga of the same name by R Kurosawa, which was first serialized in the magazine Action Pizazz SP in 2015.
Plot
The story follows Mizuki Suzuki, played by Wakana Matsumoto, whose husband Yugo Suzuki (Yuta Hiraoka) dies by suicide while employed at an IT company. Suspecting foul play or systemic workplace issues, Mizuki adopts the alias "Mitsu" and secures a position at the same company to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death. With the assistance of her brother-in-law, Yoji Suzuki, who works as a private investigator, she systematically identifies and targets those she believes are responsible for her husband's tragedy.
Production
The series consists of eight episodes and was broadcast from July 7 to August 25, 2022. The production was directed by Aya Igashi, Naruhide Mizuta, and Raku Nagao, with screenwriting handled by Tomomi Matoba and Tomoko Akutsu.
