Friend: The Great Legacy
Friend: The Great Legacy (Korean: 친구 2; RR: Chingoo 2) is a 2013 South Korean action film written and directed by Kwak Kyung-Taek. It serves as a sequel to the 2001 film Friend. The film explores themes of loyalty, power struggles, and the cyclical nature of violence within the criminal underworld.

Plot
The story follows Lee Joon-Seok (Yu Oh-Seong), who has spent 17 years in prison. Upon his release, he discovers that his former organization has been taken over by Eun-Ki (Jung Ho-Bin). While incarcerated, Joon-Seok meets Choi Sung-Hoon (Kim Woo-Bin), the son of his late friend, whom he had previously ordered to be killed. Unaware of this history, Sung-Hoon becomes a loyal subordinate to Joon-Seok as they plot to reclaim control of the gang.

Production
Principal photography commenced on May 6, 2013, at Yeongdeungpo Prison in Seoul. The production concluded on August 12, 2013, at Citizen's Forest Park in Yangjae, Seoul, with the filming of the final scene featuring Yu Oh-Seong and Kim Woo-Bin.
