Forbidden Fairytale (Korean: 동화지만 청불입니다) is a South Korean film released on January 8, 2025. Directed by Lee Jong-Suk, the film explores the professional and personal life of an aspiring writer who enters the adult web novel industry.

Plot

The story follows Yoon Dan-Bi (Park Ji-Hyun), a woman who dreams of becoming a children's book author. In her professional life, she serves as a rookie member of an illegal pornography crackdown team. Her career path takes an unexpected turn when she signs a contract with CEO Hwang (Sung Dong-Il), a prominent figure in the adult web novel industry. Initially, Dan-Bi struggles with the transition to writing adult-oriented content due to her lack of experience. With the support of her senior colleague, Kang Jeong-Seok (Choi Si-Won), and insights gained from her friends, she begins to develop her skills and eventually discovers a talent for the genre.
