Plot

The series centers on the relationship between two individuals with contrasting perspectives on mortality: a man facing a terminal diagnosis and a woman who has become desensitized to death due to her upbringing. Na Ha-Na (Kang Hye-Jung), the daughter of a funeral director, views death as a mundane aspect of existence. Driven by a desire for financial security, she works at the Seoul Funeral Hall and eventually secures a position as a nurse's aide, hoping to meet and marry a wealthy man with a limited life expectancy.

Yoon Ho-Sang (Cha Tae-Hyun) is an optimistic man who finds himself in financial distress after acting as a loan guarantor. While attempting to make a delivery, he becomes entangled in a series of events that lead to his hospitalization in a V.I.P. room under mistaken circumstances. His path eventually crosses with Ha-Na's at the hospital morgue.
