Five Enough

Five Enough (Korean: 아이가 다섯) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 from February 20, 2016, to August 21, 2016. The series, which consists of 54 episodes, was directed by Kim Jung-Kyu and written by Jung Hyun-Jung and Jung Yeo-Rang. It occupied the network's Saturday and Sunday 19:55 time slot.

Plot

The narrative centers on two single parents navigating the challenges of life and love. Lee Sang-Tae (Ahn Jae-Wook) is a marketing team leader at a fashion company who is raising two children following the death of his wife. He resides with his children and his parents-in-law. An Mi-Jung (So Yu-Jin) is an assistant manager at the same company. Three years prior to the events of the series, her husband left her after having an affair with her friend. To protect her children, she has maintained a deception that their father is working in the United States. Despite their initial reluctance to pursue new relationships, Sang-Tae and Mi-Jung eventually develop feelings for one another.

Production

The first script reading for the series occurred on January 4, 2016, at the Hotel Chereville Paradise in Yangpyeong County, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Principal photography began shortly thereafter, with Ahn Jae-Wook's first day of filming taking place on January 13, 2016, at a restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul. The series was originally scheduled for a shorter run but was extended by four episodes to reach a total of 54 episodes.
