Finding Mr. Destiny (2010 Film)
Finding Mr. Destiny (Korean: 김종욱 찾기; RR: Kim Jong-ok Chatgi) is a 2010 South Korean romantic comedy film directed by Jang Yoo-Jeong. The film is an adaptation of the popular musical play of the same name, which premiered in 2006. The movie stars Lim Soo-Jung and Gong Yoo in the lead roles.
Plot
The story follows Seo Ji-Woo (Lim Soo-Jung), a woman who remains haunted by the memory of her first love, a man named Kim Jong-Ok, whom she met while traveling in India. Unable to move on, she enlists the services of a company called "Finding Your First True Love," founded by the meticulous Han Gi-Joon (Gong Yoo). As Gi-Joon helps Ji-Woo search for her long-lost love across South Korea, the two begin to develop feelings for each other.
Production
The film was directed by Jang Yoo-Jeong, who also wrote the original musical play Kim Jong-Ok Chatgi. The production was handled by Soo Film and distributed by CJ Entertainment. Lead actor Gong Yoo contributed to the film's soundtrack by performing the theme song, "Second First Love" (Du Bunjjae Cheotsarang).
