Fighter in the Wind (Korean: 바람의 파이터; RR: Baramui Paiteo) is a 2004 South Korean biographical action film directed by Yang Yun-ho. The screenplay, written by Yang and based on a comic book by Bang Hak-ki, depicts the life of the martial artist Choi Bae-dal, better known internationally as Masutatsu Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin Karate.

Plot Summary
The film follows the life of Choi Bae-dal, a young Korean man living in Japan during the mid-20th century. After arriving in Japan, he faces significant discrimination and hardship. Following a series of personal struggles and encounters with local criminal elements, he seeks to master his martial arts skills. Inspired by the life of the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, Choi retreats to the mountains to undergo rigorous physical and mental training. Upon his return to civilization, he challenges various martial arts masters, eventually gaining recognition for his fighting prowess.
