Fashion King (2014 Film)

Fashion King (Korean: 패션왕; RR: Paeshyeonwang) is a 2014 South Korean comedy film directed by Oh Ki-hwan. The film is an adaptation of the webcomic of the same name created by Kian84, which was serialized on Naver Webtoon from 2011 to 2013.

Plot

The story follows Woo Ki-myung (Joo Won), a high school student who decides to transform his appearance and social standing to become the most fashionable person in the world. His motivation stems from a desire to impress a popular female classmate. Meanwhile, Kwak Eun-jin (Sulli) harbors feelings for Ki-myung and attempts to change her own style to capture his attention.

It is distinct from the 2012 SBS television drama series also titled Fashion King, with which it shares no narrative connection.
