Fabricated City (2017 Film)
Fabricated City (Korean: 조작된 도시; RR: Jojakdwen Doshi) is a 2017 South Korean action-crime film directed by Park Kwang-hyun. The film explores themes of digital manipulation and systemic corruption through the story of an unemployed man who is framed for a murder he did not commit.

Plot
Kwon Yoo (played by Ji Chang-wook) is a former national taekwondo champion who lives as an unemployed gamer in the real world, where he serves as a highly skilled team leader in a virtual gaming community. His life takes a drastic turn when he is framed for the rape and murder of a young woman. With the assistance of his fellow online gamers, including a socially anxious hacker named Yeo-Wool (Shim Eun-kyung), Kwon Yoo attempts to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy and clear his name.
Production
The film was directed by Park Kwang-hyun, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Oh Sang-ho. Principal photography for Fabricated City commenced on July 1, 2015, in Yongsan, Seoul, and concluded on December 29, 2015, in Seoul. The film was distributed by CJ Entertainment and released in South Korea on February 9, 2017.
