Plot Synopsis

The narrative follows the lives of Ryu Eun-Jung (played by Kim Go-Eun) and Cheon Sang-Yeon (played by Park Ji-Hyun) from their initial meeting in elementary school through their adulthood at age 42. Despite their different backgrounds—with Sang-Yeon coming from a wealthy family—the two develop a deep, albeit competitive, bond. In their forties, Eun-Jung, now a drama series writer, and Sang-Yeon, a successful movie producer, find their lives intertwined once again.
