Eulachacha Waikiki Season 2

Eulachacha Waikiki Season 2 is a South Korean television series that aired on the JTBC network in 2019. The show follows the lives, friendships, and romantic aspirations of a group of young people attempting to manage a struggling guest house.

Premise

The series centers on Lee Joon-Ki, an aspiring actor who operates the Waikiki guest house. Facing potential bankruptcy, Joon-Ki recruits two high school friends, Cha Woo-Sik and Kook Ki-Bong, to invest in the business. Woo-Sik, who aspires to be a singer, and Ki-Bong, a former baseball player currently in the minor leagues, both commit their finances to the venture. As they attempt to revive the guest house, they are joined by Han Soo-Yeon, Kim Jung-Eun, and Cha Yoo-Ri.

Production

The series was directed by Lee Chang-Min with a screenplay by Kim Ki-Ho and Song Ji-Eun. The first script reading for the production occurred on January 21, 2019, at the JTBC Building in Sangam, Seoul. The show premiered on March 25, 2019, and concluded on May 14, 2019, airing on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:30. It occupied the time slot previously held by The Light in Your Eyes and was followed by The Wind Blows.

Lee Yi-Kyung is the only main cast member from the first season of Welcome to Waikiki to return for the second season.
