Donghak, Su-un Choe Che-u

Donghak, Su-un Choe Che-u (Korean: 동학, 수운 최제우) is a 2012 South Korean biographical film directed by Stanley Park. The film explores the life and philosophical contributions of Choe Che-u, the 19th-century Korean philosopher who founded the Donghak movement.

Production and Release

The film had its world premiere at the 16th Busan International Film Festival in October 2011, where it was featured in the New Currents section. It received a theatrical release in South Korea on June 28, 2012. The production has a runtime of 106 minutes and is presented in the Korean language.
