Dolaon Hwanggeumbok (Korean: 돌아온 황금복), known in English as The Return of Hwang Geum-Bok, is a South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS. The series consists of 125 episodes and was broadcast from June 8 to December 11, 2015, in the Monday to Friday 19:15 time slot.
Plot Synopsis
The story centers on Hwang Geum-Bok, played by Shin Da-Eun, who initially feels embarrassed by her mother's occupation as a street cleaner. Her mother, Hwang Eun-Sil (Jeon Mi-Sun), is a single parent who has dedicated her life to supporting her daughter. As Geum-Bok matures, her perspective on her mother's sacrifices shifts. The narrative takes a dramatic turn when her mother disappears during a trip, leaving Geum-Bok to navigate life on her own.
