Doctor Lawyer (Korean: 닥터로이어) is a South Korean television series that aired on MBC from June 3 to July 23, 2022. The drama, directed by Lee Yong-seok and written by Jang Hong-cheol, follows the story of a medical professional who transitions into the legal field to seek justice.

The series occupies the Friday and Saturday 21:50 time slot on MBC, succeeding the drama Tomorrow and preceding Big Mouth.

Plot

The narrative centers on Han Yi-han, portrayed by So Ji-sub, an elite surgeon specializing in both general and cardiothoracic surgery. His career and life are upended following a surgery that results in the unexpected death of a patient, leading to the revocation of his medical license. Four years later, Han Yi-han returns to the professional world as a lawyer specializing in medical litigation. He works to uncover the truth behind his former patient's death while defending other victims of medical malpractice and negligence. Throughout his journey, he collaborates with a public prosecutor who has personal ties to the surgery that ended his medical career.
