Plot
The story centers on Dr. Kang Ji-min (Cha In-pyo), a mysterious and highly skilled neurosurgeon whose surgical success rate defies conventional medical explanation. His unusual methods draw the suspicion of the hospital's chief physician, Dr. Lee Suk-myung (Yu In-chon), who sends recordings of the surgeries to the United States for professional analysis.
Meanwhile, the narrative follows the personal lives of the medical staff, including anesthesiologist Dr. Pyo Ji-soo (Kim Hye-soo), who harbors secret feelings for Dr. Kang. The plot thickens when a patient named Oh Sae-yun (Kim Ha-neul), who suffers from a brain tumor, becomes involved in a hostage crisis at the hospital. Dr. Kang intervenes to save her, sparking a romantic interest from Sae-yun. After discovering the secret behind Dr. Kang's medical abilities—which involve the use of energy—Sae-yun agrees to keep his methods confidential as they begin a relationship.
