Destined with You (Korean: 이 연애는 불가항력; RR: Yi Yeonaeneun Bulgahangryeok) is a South Korean television series that aired on the JTBC network in 2023. The fantasy romance drama consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 22:30.
Plot
The story follows Lee Hong-jo, a dedicated level 9 civil servant who often faces difficult complaints in her professional life while remaining solitary in her personal life. Her life changes when she becomes the owner of an ancient wooden chest, which contains the key to breaking a long-standing family curse.
She encounters Jang Shin-yu, a successful and intelligent lawyer who suffers from a mysterious, worsening illness. Believing his condition is linked to a curse passed down through his family for generations, he seeks out Lee Hong-jo to help him break the spell.

The series was directed by Nam Ki-hoon and written by No Ji-sul. It premiered on August 23, 2023, and concluded its run on October 12, 2023. It occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 22:30 time slot on JTBC, following the conclusion of Miraculous Brothers and preceding Queen of Divorce.
