Death Bell (2008 Film)
Death Bell (Korean: 고사: 피의 중간고사; RR: Gosa: Piui Jungkan Gosa) is a 2008 South Korean horror-thriller film directed by Chang. The film, which centers on a group of high-achieving students trapped in their school, was released in South Korea on August 7, 2008.

Plot
The story follows 24 of the most academically gifted students at a high school who are locked inside their classroom on the eve of the university entrance examinations. A television monitor reveals that a top student, Hae-yeong, has been kidnapped and is being held in an aquarium that is slowly filling with water. A voice informs the students that they must complete a series of exam questions within a strict time limit. If they fail to provide the correct answers, Hae-yeong and other captives will be killed.
Production and Release
The film was produced by Kim Kwang-Su, Lim Seong-Bin, and Hong Jung-Pyo, with cinematography by Heo Seong-Ryong. It has a runtime of 88 minutes and was distributed by SK Telecom. Death Bell was featured in the competition section of the 12th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival in July 2008.
