Danpatbbang

Danpatbbang (Korean: 단팥빵) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on MBC from July 4, 2004, to January 16, 2005. The series consists of 26 episodes and was directed by Lee Jae-dong with a screenplay written by Lee Sook-jin.

Plot

The story follows the relationship between Han Ga-ran and Ahn Nam-joon, who were classmates during elementary school. Ga-ran is characterized as a tomboy with an interest in taekwondo, while Nam-joon is depicted as a popular and academically gifted student. Their dynamic shifts after Ga-ran witnesses Nam-joon giving away a sweet bun (danpatbbang) she had received from a friend to another girl, leading to a physical confrontation. This event marks the beginning of their long-standing, complicated relationship.
