Dangerous Promise (Korean: 위험한 약속; RR: Wiheomhan Yaksok) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2. The series, directed by Kim Shin-Il and written by Ma Joo-Hee, consists of 104 episodes.
Plot
The story follows Cha Eun-Dong (Park Ha-Na), a woman who consistently challenges injustice, often placing herself and her family in precarious situations. During a critical period, she receives a promise from Kang Tae-In (Ko Se-Won). When Kang Tae-In fails to uphold this commitment, the consequences lead to the destruction of Cha Eun-Dong's family. The narrative explores the aftermath of this betrayal, picking up seven years later.
Production
The first script reading for the series was held in February 2020 at the KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. The drama occupied the Monday–Friday 19:50 time slot on KBS2, succeeding Gracious Revenge and preceding Man in a Veil, which began airing on September 7, 2020.
