Daisuke Kamijo

Daisuke Kamijo (Japanese: 上條大輔) is a Japanese director and screenwriter known for his work across Japanese television dramas and feature films.

Directing Career

Kamijo has directed various film and television projects. His directorial film credits include the 2016 feature Kabuki Drop and the 2017 film Silhouette of Your Voice (adapted from Hidamari ga Kikoeru). In television, his directorial work includes the television drama 6 From High & Low The Worst, broadcast by NTV in 2020, and Yokohama Neighbors Season 1, scheduled for release on Fuji TV in 2026.

Screenwriting Career

In addition to directing, Kamijo has contributed as a screenwriter to several prominent film and television productions, particularly within the action and drama genres. His screenwriting film credits include Kabuki Drop (2016), High & Low The Movie 3 Final Mission (2017), DTC Yukemuri Junjo hen From High & Low (2018), and the live-action adaptation Kiss Him, Not Me (Watashi ga Motete Dosunda) in 2020. He also wrote for the television series 6 From High & Low The Worst in 2020.
