Daily Dose of Sunshine

Daily Dose of Sunshine (Korean: 정신병동에도 아침이 와요) is a South Korean television series that premiered on Netflix on November 3, 2023. The drama is based on the webcomic Jungshinbyungdongedo Achimeun Wayo by Lee Ra-Ha, which was first published on Naver starting March 16, 2020. The series is directed by Lee Jae-kyu and consists of 12 episodes.

Plot

The story follows Jung Da-eun, a nurse who transfers from the internal medicine department to the neuropsychiatry unit. As she navigates the challenges of her new environment, she works to support her patients while receiving guidance from the experienced Chief Nurse, Song Hyo-jin. The series also explores the life of Dong Go-yun, a proctologist who finds himself drawn to Da-eun's sincerity and optimistic approach to care. Additionally, the narrative features Song Yu-chan, a friend of Da-eun who hides personal struggles behind a cheerful facade.
