Plot Synopsis
Nao Kitazawa, a 34-year-old physician, leads a structured life working at a clinic. She is engaged to a fellow doctor, Yuichi Ihara, though she does not share a deep romantic connection with him. Shortly before her wedding, Nao encounters Shinji Mamiya, an aspiring novelist working part-time. Their relationship develops rapidly, but their future is complicated when Nao is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
