Cyrano Agency (2010 Film)
Cyrano Agency (Korean: 시라노;연애조작단) is a 2010 South Korean romantic comedy film directed and written by Kim Hyeon-Seok. The film is a modern adaptation inspired by the classic play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand.

Plot
The story centers on a specialized agency run by a former theater troupe. The team provides a unique service for clients struggling with their romantic lives, meticulously crafting and executing elaborate schemes to help them win over their interests. The agency is led by Byung-Hoon, played by Uhm Tae-Woong.
The agency's operations become complicated when a new client, a financial trader named Sang-Yong (Daniel Choi), seeks assistance to win the heart of a woman named Hee-Joong (Lee Min-Jung). Byung-Hoon discovers that Hee-Joong is his own former girlfriend, a past relationship he has struggled to move on from.
Production and Release
The film was produced by Shim Jae-Myung and features cinematography by Kim Woo-Hyung. It was released in South Korea on September 16, 2010, and distributed by Lotte Entertainment. The film achieved commercial success, opening at number three at the South Korean box office and subsequently reaching the number one position for three consecutive weeks. By October 10, 2010, the film had recorded over 2.1 million ticket sales.

Reception and Legacy
The film received several accolades, including Best New Actress and Popularity Award for Lee Min-Jung at the 47th Daejong Film Awards, and Best New Actress and Best Screenplay at the 31st Blue Dragon Film Awards. Park Shin-Hye was also recognized as the Most Popular Actress at the 47th BaekSang Arts Awards in 2011. The film was featured in episode 8 of the MBC drama Mischievous Kiss. A television series adaptation, Dating Agency: Cyrano, was released in 2013.
