Creating Destiny
Creating Destiny (Korean: 인연 만들기; RR: Inyeon Mandeulgi) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on MBC in 2009. The series, which consists of 31 episodes, was directed by Jang Keun-su and Lee Sung-joon, with a screenplay written by Hyun Go-woon. It is based on two novels by Hyun Go-woon: Inyeon Chatgi (2004) and Unmyeong Saranghagi (2003).

Plot
The story follows Han Sang-eun (played by Eugene), a Korean woman who immigrated to Australia at the age of 10 and later moved to the United States to pursue a career in law. When she decides to marry her non-Korean boyfriend, her family strongly opposes the union. In an attempt to persuade her family to accept her choices, Sang-eun returns to South Korea, leading to a series of events that challenge her cultural identity and personal relationships.

Creating Destiny premiered on October 10, 2009, on MBC, occupying the weekend time slot previously held by Tamra, the Island. The series aired on Saturdays and Sundays at 19:55, with each episode running for approximately 70 minutes.
