Connection (2024 South Korean Television Series)
Connection (Korean: 커넥션) is a South Korean crime thriller television series that aired on SBS from May 24 to July 6, 2024. The series consists of 14 episodes and was broadcast in the Friday and Saturday 22:00 time slot. Directed by Kim Moon-Kyo and Kwon Da-Som, with a screenplay by Lee Hyun, the drama explores themes of corruption and long-standing personal relationships.

Plot Synopsis
The story follows Jang Jae-Kyeong (played by Ji Sung), an ace detective in the drug task force at the Anhyeon Police Station. Jae-Kyeong maintains a strict personal philosophy that relies on self-sufficiency, intentionally distancing himself from friends, family, and colleagues to avoid the complications of personal connections. His life is upended when he is forcibly addicted to drugs by an unknown assailant. Following the death of a friend, he begins to unravel a complex web of corruption and secrets spanning a 20-year friendship.
He is joined by Oh Yoon-Jin (played by Jeon Mi-Do), a self-assertive reporter for the Anhyeon Economic Daily Newspaper. After being unfairly dismissed from her previous position, she returns to Anhyeon City with a focus on investigating corruption, eventually becoming entangled in Jae-Kyeong's investigation.
