Confession (2014 South Korean Film)
Confession, released in South Korea under the literal title Good Friends (Hangul: 좋은 친구들), is a 2014 crime drama film written and directed by Lee Do-Yoon. The film explores the disintegration of a lifelong friendship following a tragic incident.

Plot
The story follows three men who have been close friends since their school days. Their bond is tested and ultimately shattered when a well-intentioned act leads to a criminal situation. The narrative centers on the conflicting moral choices and the breakdown of trust between the protagonists.
Cast
The film features a central trio of friends portrayed by:
- Ji Sung as Hyun-Tae, a paramedic with a strong sense of justice.
- Ju Ji-Hoon as In-Chul, an insurance agent known for his manipulative tendencies.
- Lee Kwang-Soo as Min-Soo, a small business owner who views his friends as his only family.



Production
Production for the film commenced in January 2014. The role of In-Chul was initially offered to actor Gang Dong-Won, who withdrew from the project prior to the start of filming. The film was distributed by CJ Entertainment and released in South Korea on July 10, 2014.
Reception and Festivals
Confession was screened at several international film festivals, including the 39th Toronto International Film Festival in 2014 as part of the City to City program. It was also featured at the 25th Singapore International Film Festival and the 17th Udine Far East Film Festival in 2015.
