Production and Background

The screenplay for Colony was written by Yeon Sang-Ho and Choi Gyu-Seok. The production was overseen by producer Kim Yeon-Ho, with cinematography handled by Byun Bong-Sun. Principal photography commenced in March 2025 and concluded in June 2025.

Plot Synopsis

The story follows a group of people trapped inside a building that has been sealed off due to an unidentified infection. The trapped individuals—including biotechnologist Kwon Se-Jeong, Choi Hyun-Seok, Kong Seol-Hee, Choi Hyun-Hee, and Han Kyu-Seong—must fight against infected individuals who are evolving in unpredictable forms.
