Collectors (Korean: 도굴; RR: Dogool) is a 2020 South Korean crime film directed by Park Jung-Bae. The story follows a talented grave robber who assembles a team to execute complex heists involving ancient artifacts.

Plot

Kang Dong-Goo (Lee Je-Hoon) is an expert grave robber with a unique set of skills. He partners with Dr. Johns (Jo Woo-Jin), a specialist in ancient tomb murals, and Sabdari (Lim Won-Hee), a legendary shoveler. The group is approached by Curator Yoon (Shin Hae-Sun), an expert in ancient art, who proposes a high-stakes and dangerous deal that draws the team into a complex criminal operation.

Production

The film was directed by Park Jung-Bae and written by Hwang Dong-Hyuk. Principal photography for the production commenced on July 1, 2019, and concluded on November 10, 2019. The film was distributed by CJ Entertainment and released in South Korea on November 4, 2020, with a total runtime of 114 minutes.
