Background

The film is inspired by a true story that occurred in 2016, involving a housewife in her 40s who was targeted by a voice phishing scheme. After losing a significant sum of money, she took proactive measures to track the leader of the criminal group, eventually leading to their apprehension.

Plot

Deok-Hee (Ra Mi-Ran) is a hardworking woman who falls victim to a sophisticated voice phishing scam, losing her savings in the process. Determined to recover her funds and seek justice, she begins an investigation. She is assisted by her friend and co-worker, Bong-Rim (Yum Hye-Ran), and an enthusiastic acquaintance, Sook-Ja (Jang Yoon-Ju). During her pursuit, she establishes contact with Jae-Min (Gong Myung), a member of the voice phishing organization who becomes her secret informant.
