Circle of Crime (2012 Film)

Circle of Crime (Korean: 비정한 도시; RR: Bijunghan Doshi) is a 2012 South Korean suspense-thriller directed by Kim Mun-Heum. The film is structured as an anthology, presenting ten interconnected stories that explore themes of urban violence and crime, ultimately converging toward a singular outcome.

Production

The film was produced by Jung Yun-Jae and Shin Sang-Yeob. Principal photography for the project took place between September 8, 2011, and September 14, 2012. During its development phase, the film was known by the working title Onjeonhan Doshi, which translates to "Perfect City." This early version of the project was selected for the long film section by the Jeonju Film Commission.
