Cinderella Game (South Korean Television Series)

Cinderella Game is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the KBS2 network. The series, which consists of 101 episodes, follows the story of Koo Ha-Na, a woman who discovers that her upbringing was built on deception and that her family were the enemies of her biological parents. Driven by this revelation, she transforms into a figure seeking retribution.

Plot

Koo Ha-Na (played by Han Groo) is a dedicated breadwinner who has long supported her family. Her life changes drastically when she learns the truth about her origins: she is not the biological daughter of the family that raised her. She discovers that her adoptive family was responsible for the downfall of her real parents and had been exploiting her. This discovery leads her to embark on a path of revenge. The narrative also follows Hwang Jin-Koo (played by Choi Sang), the CEO of Hyesung Tour, a subsidiary of the Hyesung Group. Initially skeptical of Koo Ha-Na, his perspective shifts as he begins to empathize with her situation.

Production

The series was directed by Lee Hyun-Kyung and written by Oh Sang-Hee. It occupied the Monday to Friday 19:50 time slot on KBS2, succeeding the drama Snow White's Revenge.
