Cinderella at 2AM

Cinderella at 2AM (Korean: 새벽 2시의 신데렐라) is a South Korean romantic comedy television series that aired in 2024. The drama was broadcast on Coupang Play and Channel A, running for 10 episodes from August 24 to September 22, 2024.

Production and Background

The series is based on the web novel Saebyeok Doo Shiui Cinderella by Aigome, which was originally published on Naver between October 4 and December 20, 2013. The television adaptation was directed by Seo Min-Jung and Bae Hee-Young, with the screenplay written by Oh Eun-Ji.

Plot

The story follows Ha Yun-Seo (played by Shin Hyun-Bin), a pragmatic and confident team leader at a large corporation. Having overcome a difficult childhood marked by domestic violence, she has built a successful career. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers that her boyfriend, Seo Ju-Won (played by Moon Sang-Min), is the son of the wealthy family that owns the company where she works.

Following the revelation, Seo Ju-Won's mother attempts to intervene, offering Ha Yun-Seo money to end the relationship. Skeptical of fairy-tale endings, Ha Yun-Seo accepts the offer and attempts to break up with him. However, Seo Ju-Won, who is committed to their relationship, refuses to accept the separation and works to change her perspective.

Cast

The main cast features Shin Hyun-Bin as Ha Yun-Seo and Moon Sang-Min as Seo Ju-Won. The supporting cast includes Yoon Park, Sojin, and Jin Hee-Kyung, among others.
