Choi Young-woo

Choi Young-woo (born October 24, 1983) is a South Korean actor. He has appeared in a variety of television series and films, often taking on supporting roles that have contributed to his recognition in the South Korean entertainment industry. He is also known by the name Choi Yeon-dong.

Career

Choi has built a diverse filmography across both television and cinema. In television, he gained prominence for his role as General Yong Gol-dae in the historical drama My Dearest (2023), a performance for which he received the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2023 MBC Drama Awards. Other notable television appearances include the medical drama Hospital Playlist (2020–2021) and the thriller Connection (2024).

His film credits include roles in Dead Man (2024), Intruder (2020), and Juror 8 (2019). Throughout his career, he has worked across various genres, ranging from historical dramas to contemporary thrillers and procedural series.
