Chicken Nugget (South Korean TV Series)
Chicken Nugget (Korean: 닭강정; RR: Dakgangjeong) is a South Korean television series released on Netflix in 2024. The series is a comedy-mystery directed by Lee Byeong-hun and is based on the webcomic of the same name by Park Ji-dok, which was serialized on Naver between 2019 and 2020.
Plot
The story follows Choi Sun-man, the owner of a small machine company, and his intern, Ko Baek-joong. The plot is set in motion when a mysterious machine is delivered to their office. Choi Min-a, the daughter of Choi Sun-man, visits the office and mistakes the device for a fatigue-relief machine. Upon entering the apparatus, she is transformed into a piece of sweet and spicy fried chicken. The remainder of the series focuses on the efforts of her father and the intern to restore her to human form.
Production
The series consists of 10 episodes and was released on March 15, 2024. It features a large ensemble cast, including Ryu Seung-ryong as Choi Sun-man, Ahn Jae-hong as Ko Baek-joong, and Kim You-jung as Choi Min-a.
