The First Man, also known by its Korean title Cheot Beonjjae Namja (Korean: 첫 번째 남자), is a South Korean television drama series broadcast on the MBC network. Directed by Kang Tae-Heum and written by the collaborative writing team of Seo Hyun-Joo and An Jin-Young, the daily drama series ran for 140 episodes.

Broadcast History and Scheduling

The series premiered on December 15, 2025, and concluded its run on July 2, 2026. Episodes were broadcast from Monday through Friday during the 19:05 to 19:40 time slot. In MBC's programming schedule, The First Man took over the time slot previously occupied by The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun and was subsequently followed by Family Register beginning on July 6, 2026.
