Cheer Up, Mr. Lee (2019 Film)
Cheer Up, Mr. Lee (Korean: 힘을 내요, 미스터 리) is a 2019 South Korean comedy-drama film directed by Lee Gye-Byeok. The film follows the story of Cheol-Soo, a physically fit man with a developmental disability, and his unexpected journey of discovery after meeting a young girl who turns out to be his daughter.

Plot
Cheol-Soo, played by Cha Seung-Won, works at a restaurant owned by his younger brother, Young-Soo. Despite his physical strength and handsome appearance, Cheol-Soo has a developmental disability. His life changes when he encounters his former mother-in-law, who leads him to a hospital for a blood test. There, he meets Saet-Byeol, a young girl suffering from leukemia who is revealed to be his daughter. The narrative follows their journey as they travel to Daegu, where Saet-Byeol hopes to obtain an autograph from a famous baseball player for a friend.
Production
The production of Cheer Up, Mr. Lee began with a script reading and a traditional gosa ceremony on June 21, 2018. Principal photography commenced on June 23, 2018, and concluded on September 22, 2018. The film was distributed by Next Entertainment World and released in South Korea on September 11, 2019.
