Cheat on Me If You Can (Korean: 바람피면 죽는다; RR: Barampimyeon Jookneunda; lit. If I Cheat, I Die) is a South Korean mystery television series that aired on KBS2. The series consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast from December 2, 2020, to January 28, 2021, in the Wednesday and Thursday 21:30 time slot.
Plot
The story centers on Kang Yeo-Joo, a successful novelist known for writing crime stories that focus on cruel murder cases. Her professional life is defined by her constant exploration of methods for committing murder. She is married to Han Woo-Sung, a divorce lawyer who has signed a memorandum with his wife stating, "If I cheat, I die."
Production
The drama was directed by Kim Hyung-Suk and written by Lee Sung-Min. The first script reading for the production took place on June 22, 2020, at the KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. The series replaced the drama Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol in its time slot and was followed by Hello, Me! in February 2021.
During its broadcast, the schedule experienced a minor adjustment: the eighth episode did not air on its scheduled date of Thursday, December 24, 2020, due to the broadcast of the 2020 KBS Entertainment Awards. The episode was subsequently rescheduled for Wednesday, December 30, 2020.
