Changsoo (2013 Film)
Changsoo (Korean: 창수) is a 2013 South Korean drama and noir film directed and written by Lee Duk-Hee. The film follows the life of a man who makes a living by serving prison sentences on behalf of others, only to have his life irrevocably altered after a chance meeting with a woman.

Plot
Chang-Soo (played by Im Chang-Jung) is a man with a difficult past, having grown up in an orphanage without knowledge of his parents. He survives by taking the fall for crimes committed by others, serving prison time in their stead. His routine is disrupted when he witnesses a violent confrontation between a man and a woman on the street. After intervening, Chang-Soo encounters the woman, Mi-Yeon (Son Eun-Seo), and offers her support. As they spend time together, Chang-Soo discovers they share a similar background of growing up in an orphanage, leading him to develop deep feelings for her. However, this brief period of connection sets off a series of events that drastically changes his life.

Production and Release
Changsoo was produced by Na Hyun-Joo and distributed by Mines Entertainment and Boxoo Entertainment. The film had a runtime of 111 minutes and was officially released in South Korea on November 28, 2013. Prior to its theatrical release, the film was screened at the 17th Busan International Film Festival in October 2012 as part of the 'Korean Cinema Today - Panorama' section, where it held its world premiere.
