Cha Hak-Yeon

Cha Hak-Yeon (born June 30, 1990), also known by his stage name N, is a South Korean singer, actor, and entertainer. He is widely recognized as a member of the South Korean boy band VIXX.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Born in South Korea on June 30, 1990, Cha Hak-Yeon stands 180 cm tall and has blood type A. He debuted in the entertainment industry as a member of the boy band VIXX, under Jellyfish Entertainment, where he serves in musical capacities.

Acting Career

Transitioning into television and film acting, Cha has appeared in numerous television drama series, television films, and theatrical releases. His television credits include roles in Hotel King (2014), Cheer Up! (2015), Tunnel (2017), Familiar Wife (2018), Children of Nobody (2018–2019), Mine (2021), Bad and Crazy (2021–2022), Joseon Attorney: A Morality (2023), and Castaway Diva (2023).

In addition to standard drama series, he has participated in single-episode or special format television projects, such as tvN's Drama Stage: The Fair (2021) and KBS2's Drama Special: Stain (2022). His performance in Drama Special: Stain earned him recognition at the 2022 KBS Drama Awards, where he received the Special Short Drama Actor award on December 31, 2022.
