Catch the Ghost (South Korean TV Series)

Catch the Ghost (Korean: 유령을 잡아라; RR: Yooryungeul Jabara) is a South Korean television series that aired on the cable network tvN in 2019. The series follows the investigations of a specialized subway police team.

Plot

The story centers on Yoo-ryung, a rookie detective who joins the subway police force with a personal mission: to locate her twin sister, who has autism and has gone missing. Yoo-ryung is characterized by her exceptional spatial perception and a strong sense of justice. She is partnered with a more experienced detective who often finds himself managing the consequences of her impulsive investigative methods.

Production and Release

The series was directed by Shin Yoon-sub and written by So Won and Lee Young-joo. It originally premiered on October 21, 2019, following a delay from its initially planned August 26, 2019, release date. The show occupied the Monday and Tuesday 21:30 time slot on tvN, succeeding The Great Show and preceding Black Dog: Being a Teacher.

Cast

The main cast features Moon Geun-young as Yoo-ryung and Kim Seon-ho as Ko Ji-seok. Supporting cast members include Jung Eugene, Ki Do-hoon, Jo Jae-yun, Ahn Seung-kyoon, and Lee Joon-hyuk.
