Catch Me (2013 Film)

Catch Me (Korean: 캐치미; RR: Kaechimi), also known by its English title Steal My Heart, is a 2013 South Korean romantic comedy film directed by Lee Hyun-Jong. The film stars Joo Won and Kim A-Joong in the lead roles.

Plot

Lee Ho-Tae (Joo Won) is a successful criminal profiler tasked with solving a serial murder case. During the investigation, a suspect is involved in a hit-and-run accident. Ho-Tae vows to apprehend the driver responsible. Upon tracking the vehicle, he discovers the driver is Yoon Jin-Sook (Kim A-Joong). When he confronts her at her apartment, he is surprised to realize that Jin-Sook is his first love from their college years. The situation becomes more complex when he learns that she is a professional cat burglar.

Production

The film was produced by Yoon Il-Joong, Shim Jung-Woon, Jo Soo-Min, and Bae Yong-Guk. Principal photography commenced on May 26, 2013. The first scene captured featured the reunion between Detective Lee Ho-Tae and his former love, Yoon Jin-Sook, after a decade of separation. During its development phase, the film carried the working title Only You (온리유).
