Plot

Kim Seung-keun (played by Jung Jae-young) attempts suicide by jumping from a bridge into the Han River. Instead of dying, he washes ashore on Bamseom, a small, uninhabited island located in the middle of the river within sight of Seoul's high-rise buildings. Initially desperate to escape, he eventually adapts to his solitary life, finding a sense of peace in his primitive environment.

Across the river, a reclusive woman named Kim Jung-yeon (played by Jung Ryeo-won) has lived in isolation for three years, spending her time on social media and photographing the moon. While observing the city through her camera lens, she spots a "HELP" sign written in the sand on the island. Intrigued by the man she sees, she begins to communicate with him, forming an unconventional bond that bridges their respective isolations.
