Castaway Diva

Castaway Diva (Korean: 무인도의 디바; RR: Mooindoui Diva) is a South Korean television series that aired on the network tvN from October 28 to December 3, 2023. The series consists of 12 episodes and was broadcast in the Saturday and Sunday 21:20 time slot.

Plot

The story follows Seo Mok-ha, portrayed by Park Eun-bin, a young woman who dreams of becoming a professional singer. While traveling to Seoul to attend an audition, she becomes stranded on a deserted island. After surviving in isolation for 15 years, she is eventually rescued. The narrative focuses on her efforts to reintegrate into modern society while continuing to pursue her lifelong ambition of becoming a diva.

Production

The series was directed by Oh Choong-hwan and written by Park Hye-ryun. It occupied the tvN weekend time slot previously held by Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun and was succeeded by Maestra: Strings of Truth on December 9, 2023.
