Car Center (2019 Film)
Car Center (Korean: 카센타) is a 2019 South Korean comedy-crime film written and directed by Ha Yoon-Jae. The film explores the moral descent of a married couple who operate a struggling car repair shop in a rural area.

Plot
Jae-Gu (Park Yong-Woo) and his wife, Sun-Yeong (Jo Eun-Ji), manage a small, quiet car repair shop located near a highway. Business is slow, and the couple struggles to make ends meet. Their situation changes when they notice a recurring pattern of vehicles suffering flat tires on the nearby road. Jae-Gu discovers that the tires are being punctured by metal debris originating from a construction site.
Seeing an opportunity to boost their income, Jae-Gu begins to exploit the situation, and Sun-Yeong eventually joins him in the scheme. However, their illicit efforts to profit from the accidents lead to unforeseen complications and ethical dilemmas.

Production and Release
The film was directed and written by Ha Yoon-Jae and produced by Chae Kil-Byeong. It held its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival on October 5, 2018. The film was officially released in South Korean theaters on November 27, 2019, with a runtime of 97 minutes. It was distributed by Triple Pictures.
